In 1887 Count Teleki, the Hungarian explorer, reached Lake Turkana which he named Lake Rudolf. Every year there is a migration of over a million wildebeests looking for new grazing areas. Tsavo National Park is one of the world's largest parks and covers four per cent of Kenya.
