Expedition Route

At Wadi Halfa we will have entered Sudan the largest country in Africa, which is dominated by the Nile and its tributaries. Here we will leave the Nile for a short time and head southwest across the barren empty desert. We will hopefully hit the meandering Nile again and follow its course to the capital Khartoum. From there we will follow the Blue Nile towards Ethiopia, where we should witness the arid desert gradually begin to turn into the tropical south.
