The proposed route of the expedition is shown on the map. Each of the countries en route brings its own challenges, from snowy mountain roads on the European stretch, to poor road conditions, malaria, heat and political instability throughout Africa. EXPEDITION SCHEDULE

Nov 6th 2005: Expedition sets off from Hereford

Nov 7th 2005: Official launch and start of expedition from Stoke Mandeville Hospital

Nov 10th 2005: Colin speaks at Ashburton conference, Jersey

Nov 11th 2005: Expedition team sail to France for start of European leg of journey

Nov 20th 2005: Sail from Italy to Tunisia

Christmas Day 2005: Ethiopia

New Years Eve: Arrive in Kenya

Jan 2006: Half way point of expedition - rest and vehicle servicing in Kenya

Feb 15th -17th 2006: Visit KASI project in Tanzania

March 5th - 7th 2006: Visit DISCARE project in Zambia

Mar 29th – April 9th: Press activities in Johannesburg ( dates tbc)

April 10th – 14th: Visits to QASA, Lions Club, and various Press in Durban area (tbc)

April 17th 2006: End of Expedition - Arrive into Cape Town (date tbc)
